So, when is Mother’s Day this year? Well, traditionally Mothering Sunday is a Christian celebration, which is celebrated in the UK exactly three weeks before Easter Sunday. This year that means Mother’s Day falls on Sunday the 26th March.

If you’re not spending the day with Mum, many of us will be thinking about sending a gift to help her celebrate the day. Here are some of our tips for sending a Mother’s Day gift with our parcel delivery service.

So when should I send my gift?

At Deadline Distribution, we’re part of the UK’s largest independent delivery network APC Overnight and we offer next day delivery to the majority of the UK. We do offer Saturday deliveries in most areas as well for any last-minute gifts – just contact us here for more details on our services or for advice on when to send your parcel to make sure it arrives in time.

How should I package my gift?
