Sending a parcel delivery for Easter 2018
Easter falls early this year – so here’s our handy guide to the dates you’ll need, so you know what to eggs-pect!
If you’re planning deliveries to your customers or sending gifts to friends or relatives, you’ll need to plan when to send your parcels to make sure they arrive on time.
Delivery dates for sending Easter parcels
This year Easter takes place from Good Friday on 30th March until Easter Monday on 2nd April – meaning Easter Sunday falls on 1st April, which is also April Fool’s Day. We won’t be making deliveries or collections on Friday 30th March, so you’ll need to book your collection for Wednesday 28th March for delivery on Thursday 29th March at the very latest.
Here are the important dates you’ll need:
Good Friday 30th March: No collections or deliveries
Saturday 31st March: Premium deliveries only
Easter Sunday 1st April: No service
Bank Holiday Monday 2nd April: No collections or deliveries
Tuesday 3rd April: Normal collection and delivery service resumes
As always, Easter is a very busy time for parcel deliveries, so we would always advise booking as early as possible and using a timed service for those last-minute Easter deliveries.
‘Crack’ the packaging
Of course, making sure your parcels are correctly packaged and labelled is really important – read more here in our handy guide.
We wish you all a very Happy Easter and enjoy those chocolate eggs!
